Homemade ginger and garlic paste-cubes

Ingredients for method No 1

  • Garlic – peeled
  • Ginger – peel and chop
  • 4 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp salt

Method for No 1:

1.In a blender put peeled garlic,peeled and chopped ginger,4 tbsp of cooking oil and salt.

2.Blend until smooth and can be store in a closed container and refrigerated

Ingredients for method No 2

  • Garlic – peeled
  • Ginger – peel and chop
  • 3/4 cup water

Method:

1.In a blender put peeled garlic,peeled and chopped ginger,1/2 cup or ¾ cup of water.The water should completely cover the garlic and ginger.

2.Blend until smooth and put the mixture in ice cubes tray and store in the fridge for 3-5 or more.

  • Vitunguu saum – vimenye
  • Tangawizi mbichi – imenye ikate ikate
  • Mafuta ya kupikia vjk 4
  • Chumvi kjk 1

Matayarisho

1.Kwenye blender weka vitunguu saumu vilivomenywa,tangawizi mbichi zilizomenywa,mafuta ya kupikia vjk 4 na chumvi kijiko 1.

2.Saga mpaka iwe laini,hifadhi kwenye chombo chenye mfuniko na uweke kwenye friji

  • Vitunguu saum – vimenye
  • Tangawizi mbichi – imenye ikate ikate
  • Maji nusu glass au kikombe kasrobo

Matayarisho

1.Kwenye blender weka vitunguu saum vilivomenywa,tangawizi mbichi imenye na ukate kate.Weka maji ½ kikombe au ¾ cup.Maji inabidi ifunike kitunguu saumu na tangawizi.

2.Saga mpaka inakua laini.

3.Chukua vya kugandisha barafu na uweke mchanganyiko wako.Weka kwenye freezer kwa muda wa masaa 3-5 au zaidi
