Pasta / creamy & cheesy pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of pasta
  • Cooking oil 1 tbsp
  • All purpose flour (for the sauce )
  • 1 cup milk or water
  • Cumin powder
  • Black pepper
  • All purpose seasoning
  • 1/2 or 1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
  • 1 onion
  • Mixed peppers
  • Sweetcorn
  • Chopped garlic
  • Salt

Method

1.Boil 2 cups of pasta of your choice. Add 1tbsp of cooking oil,the oil helps the pasta not to stick together.After the pasta is ready,drain the water using a colander.

2.In a pan add 2tbsp of oil, then add 1tbsp of all purpose flour, stir it well to avoid to make lumps of flour.

3.Add 1 cup of water/milk.Stir the mixture thoroughly using a whish to avoid creating lumps.Continue to stir until a heavy cream is made.

4.Add 1 tsp of cumin powder, also add some black pepper powder.At this point you can add any kind of spices, here I added all1 tsp of purpose seasoning,

5.Add ½ or 1 cup of cheddar cheese, depending on how much cheeses you wuld like in your pasta. Mix well, and if the mixture is too heavy you can add a cup of water to dilute the sauce.Sauce is ready

6.In a pan add 2 tbsp of cooking oil, when the oil is heated add a medium sized chopped onion, Add peppers, garlic and sweet corn. Stir the mixture for a few minutes.

7.Add the boiled pasta to the mixture and salt.Stir the mixture and add the cheese/white sauce (The amount of cheese sauce added depends on the amount of cheese you would like in you pasta).You can store the remaining cheese in the fridge

Matayarisho

 1.Chemsha pasta vikombe viwili za aina yoyote,weka mafuta kijiko kimoja ili zisigandane wakati wa kuchemsha.Zikisha iva,ziepue na kumwaga maji kwa kuziweka kwenye chujio.

2.Kwenye sufuria / pan weka vijiko viwili vikubwa vya mafuta,kisha weka kijiko kikubwa cha unga na ukoroge vizuri na hakikisha unga wako hauna madonge.

3.Weka maji/maziwa kikombe kimoja.Koroga vizuri na hakikisha unga usifanye madonge mpaka itakapokua nzito/cream nzito.

4.Weka kijiko kimoja cha chai cha binzari nyembamba na pilipili manga kiasi.Unaweza kuweka spice zozote utakazopenda,hapa nimetumia all purpose seasoning kijiko kiomoja cha chai kisha koroga vizuri.

5.Weka Jibini/cheese nusu kikombe au kikombe kimoja kutengemeana na unapenda cheese kiasi gani,cheddar cheese au jibini/cheese yoyote utakayopenda.Koroga vizuri na kama ukiona ni nzito sana,ongeza maji ya moto kiasi cha nusu kikombe au kikombe kimoja.Sauce itakua tayari.

6.Teleka pan yako na uweke mafuta vijiko viwili.Mafuta yakipata moto,weka kitunguu kichokatwa kimoja cha size ya kati,weka pilipili boga,kitunguu thaumu na mahindi machanga/sweet corn.Koroga kwa dakika chache.

7.Weka pasta zako zilizochemshwa katika mchanganyiko wako pamoja na chumvi kiasi.Koroga mchanganyiko wako na utie sauce yako ulioipika,unaweza kutia kiasi utakachokipenda na kuhifadhi iliobaki kwenye friji.Koroga na uache kwa dakika 1-2
