Sweet , Sour and Hot Chicken Whole Wings

Ingredients.

To marinate wings you need:

  • 1kg whole chicken wings
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp all purposes seasoning
  • Garlic & ginger
  • 3 tbsp vegetables oil
  • Chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Lime juice

To make the sauce you need;

  • 1/4 hot and sweet of any chilli sauce
  • 1/4 ketchup
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Green chilli for garnishing

Method:

  1. Put the whole chicken wings 1kg in a bowl.
  2. Add salt,1tbsp of cumin powder,1tbsp of garam powder,1tbsp of curry powder, fresh ginger and garlic,1tbsp of all purpose seasoning,1tbsp of honey, chili flakes and add lime juice
  3. Mix together the spices well to the chicken and add 3 tbsp of cooking/vegetable oil then mix well.
  4. Align them on the baking tray/pot which has been well greased
  5. You can either cook it by oven or coal
  6. Cook it 20-25 minutes on one side when they are ready turn them and repeat the process

How to prepare to sauce:

  1. Put a pan on heat.
  2. Add ¼ cup of hot & sweet chili sauce,¼ cup of ketchup, 2tbsp of dark soy sauce 1tbsp of honey,1tbsp of garlic and ginger(fresh or powder),1tbsp of butter
  3. Cook for 5-6 minutes on medium heat
  4. Add the chicken wing pieces, Add lemon juice. Mix well with the sauce.

You can add the wings to the sauce in the pan or you can mix the sauce and wings in a bowl.

  • Kijiko kikubwa cha garam masala
  • Kijiko kikubwa cha curry powder
  • Kijio kikubwa cha tangawizi na kitungu swaumu
  • Vijiko vitatu vya mafuta ya kupikia
  • Pilipili
  • Kijiko kikubwa cha asali
  • Maji ya ndimu

Matayarisho:

  1. Weka kilo moja ya mabawa ya kuku kwenye bakuli, chumvi, Kijiko kikubwa cha binzari,Kijiko kikubwa cha garam masala, Kijiko kikubwa cha curry powder, Kijiko kikubwa cha tangawizi na kitungu swaumu mbichi na all purpose seasoning.
  2. Pia weka asali kijiko kimoja kikubwa,weka pilipili ya kuwasha pamoja,ndimu na Vijiko vitatu vya mafuta ya kupikia kisha wachanganye vizuri
  3. Panga mabawa yako kwenye trey/susfuria na unaweza kuwachama kwenye grill au mkaa vile ambavyo utapenda
  4. Wachome upande mmoja waive kwa dakika 20-25 na ugeuze kwa ajili ya kuwaivisha upande wa pili kwa moto wa 180 .

Kwa ajili ya sauce:

  1. Tutahitaji sauce ya hot and sweet chilli sauce ama sauce yoyote ambayo unapenda, robo kikombe au Zaidi kama unapenda.Robo kikombe ya ketchup,dark soy sauce vijiko viwili vya chakula,asali kijiko kimoja cha chakula,kitungu swaumu na tangawizi kijiko kimoja na siagi kijiko kimoja kikubwa.
  2. Pika kwa dakika 4-6.
  3. Baada ya hapo wekaa wings zako kwenye sauce yako.Pia unaweza kuchanganya wings na sauce kwenye bakuli
